Certification

The IMMUNE Building Standard™ is a blueprint for the healthy buildings of the future. It evaluates buildings across 135 criteria , covering governance, access, outdoor spaces, common areas, office spaces, amenities, and facility management. Buildings can achieve one of three certification levels:

  • IMMUNE™ Strong (55-70%)
  • IMMUNE™ Powerful (71-85%)
  • IMMUNE™ Resilient (85%+)

How It Works

  • Implementation

    • The client implements necessary changes to meet the standard.

  • Facilitation & Verification

    • A four-week process to verify compliance.

  • Review by HDBI

    • A 1-2 month review period.

  • Award of Standard

    • The building is awarded the appropriate IMMUNE certification level.

  • Stakeholder Workshop

    • A one-day workshop to align stakeholders with the IMMUNE Building Standard™.

  • Gap Assessment Study

    • A two-week study to identify gaps in the building’s compliance with the standard.

  • Registration

    • The project is registered with HDBI.

IMMUNE Scoring Index

The IMMUNE Assessment Scoring Index evaluates buildings across 135 criteria, ensuring a holistic approach to health and safety. The scoring system covers:

  • Governance : Policies and procedures for health and safety.
  • Access : Entry points and security measures.
  • Outdoor Spaces : Landscaping and outdoor air quality.
  • Common Areas : Lobbies, elevators, and shared spaces.
  • Office Spaces : Workstations, meeting rooms, and ventilation systems.
  • Amenities : Restrooms, cafeterias, and recreational areas.
  • Facility Management : Maintenance and operational protocols.
